Why choose Data-Command?
Our commitment to our customers is continually growing to meet your needs as they arise. We provide new services that help solve the problems that you have. No one can match the features we currently have as a package, and we have a long-term plan of being ahead of our competitors. We offer a solution that connects though many media/connections such as DSL, Cable, T1, T3, Cellular and Satellite. Most other companies can only offer solutions that connect through one or two of these media.
Because of the availability of our connectivity options you are not tied into any one form of connection. A business-class dial-up phone connection can be as much as $80 per month. Since, Data-Command can use any existing internet connection through DSL, Cable, Satellite, T1 or any other means your monthly cost can be significantly reduced.
Through the use of satellite communications, we can provide connectivity to remote sites through the use of cell phones or hard wired connections.
What value does Data-Command provide?
Our solution gives you the ability to monitor your assets from anywhere in the world. The Data-Command system consists of virtually any device or Data-command Client Software and your web browser. Your information is stored offsite and backed up for you.
You will receive a dedicated web site that allows you to:
-
View your information in a graphical format
-
Monitor and send alerts via e-mail, text messaging and voice messaging1 of critical alarm points.
-
Analyze your information with built-in trend tools.

-
Make announcements for upcoming events
-

1 Voice messaging is not part of the base service fee.
Where can I use it ?
Since a Data-command compatible unit can communicate through so many different connections, it will work virtually anywhere. In the middle of a city, a low lying area, in your home, office or plant, or even in the middle of a field or desert. Most applications require very little specialty hardware or network configuration such as radio antenna towers or fixed IP address. If you have existing internet connection (even with a firewall) it will work.
How much does it cost?
Our base plan starts at $24.95 per month. This rate may vary depending on type of service, connection type and data update rates.
The cost of the hardware or software is manufacture dependant but usually runs between $495 and $1,295. Our sales partners and support partners can assist you in selecting right product to meet your monitoring requirements.

What is Client Software?
The client software adds many features to enhance your Data-Command experience.
-
As part of a hardware monitoring system it acts as an interface to your existing SCADA system through the use of OPC.
-
As part of an IT solution it allows you to monitor a computer for some critical monitoring points such as hard drive space, virus definition dates and last backup dates. When these go out of range Data-Command will notify you no matter where you are.
-
As part of an enterprise solution it passes the data to your existing database solution such as Access, MSDE, SQL and Oracle through the use of ODBC.
