Applications
Data-Command can be thought of as a “Device ISP”. A regular ISP, such as AOL or Roadrunner, connects people to other people through the internet. A Device ISP connects machines to other machines (M2M) through its own personal ‘internet'. And although it's a standalone product, it works interoperable with existing SCADA systems to provice web based display and alerts. With our Data-Command OPC Client/Server you can easily integrate your existing SCADA System with your Data-Command information.
You view trends and manage alerts from any standard web browser, as well as send information from one data-command compliant product to any other data-command compliant product in your system.
Through the use of satellite communications, we can provide connectivity to remote sites where the use of cellular or other hard wired connections are not available.
Text Message Notifications
When something goes wrong, Data-Command knows. It reports the failure directly to you. It’s an electronic guardian angel to your remote assets. It watches and cares for your information, but when something goes poorly, it informs the proper people – whether it’s you, or the maintenance workers that can fix what’s broken.
Continuous health monitoring of all Data-Command compliant products ensures immediate notification of an inoperable unit.
You can manage alerts and alert call lists from the web and send your alerts as voice messages, text messages and/or e-mail messages.
Security
Never let your guard down. We're firewall friendly, and that's probably the nicest thing your IT department has ever heard. Data-Command can reside behind a standard firewall without changing any incoming TCP/IP ports settings. This allows you to optimize without ever compromising your system security.
Updates
Never pay for another Software upgrade again! When your server or computer dies 3 years from now or a new operating system is released, that your existing software requires an upgrade to operate properly, what do you do? Data-Command uses a standard web browser and is always updated with the latest technology.
Data-Command is never out of date. Who is to say that the next operating system will be compatible with your existing software? You'd have to pay for software upgrades. Without Data-Command, you'd have to upgrade roughly every three years. And it could cost you several thousand dollars each time. Data-Command, by contrast, uses a standard web browser, and is always updated with the latest technology.
